How to add a 'Pay per listing' advert
Advertising on Sites4bikes is as much for individuals
as it is for motorbike dealers, motorbike holiday companies and
motorbike riding schools.
However we realised that as an individual you may
not want to buy multiple listings, so it is possible to add a single
listing for 30 days for just £2.50. Single listings benefit
from all the same features as the multiple listings however adding
them is slightly different, so here to help make it as easy as possible
are the instructions screen by screen.
The first thing to do is to click on the "Sell"
tab and at the bottom of that page, click on the "Pay per listing"
option. This will take you through registration and the Paypal system.
Once you have completed the payment you will be returned to the
login screen:

Here you will need to enter the login
name you chose and your password. Once you have done that you will
be taken to your homepage:

When you pay, Paypal automatically
creates the start of your advert, so you do not need to create it.
From here you click on the "Edit My Listing" icon, which
will take you to your listings page, where your started advert will
be.

Your listing will be shown at the
bottom of the page, it will show as "Not Active" and the
category will show as "Please select...". From here click
"Modify listing".

Here you will need to add the title
of your listing and select which category you would like to place
it - selecting the category determines which fields you need to
add. The options to select from are "Dealerships", "Motorbikes",
"Parts & Accessories", "Motorbike Holidays"
or "Riding school". Once you have selected click update
and this will show you the relevant fields.

From here you can add all the relevant
information about your motorbike and add pictures, then preview
it (which opens in a new window) before you commit to posting your
advert. To make your advert visible to everyone you must change
the "Active" status to "Yes" then click "Update".
Your advert is now live.
